Willow is a cosy Baltic pine lodge set on a working mixed farm near the village of Lanivet. Surrounded by sweeping countryside views, it’s an ideal escape for a couple or solo traveller looking for a peaceful rural retreat.

On arrival, guests are greeted by the friendly farm dog and welcomed with a traditional Cornish cream tea, a lovely introduction to your stay. Inside, the open-plan living area is bright and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen, a generous dining table, and comfortable seating, creating a sociable space designed for cooking, sharing meals, or relaxing in the evening with a film or a good book. Large triple-aspect windows and patio doors fill the lodge with natural light, while full insulation ensures comfort throughout the year.

The bedroom is a flexible zip-and-link room which can be arranged with either a super king-size bed or twin beds to suit your needs, and benefits from a sleek en-suite bathroom with both a bath and a shower.

Outside, a veranda with a bistro set is a charming spot for morning coffee while watching the sun rise over the fields, where cows and goats graze nearby. The spacious garden includes outdoor dining furniture and a barbecue for relaxed al fresco meals, as well as garden games such as boules and swing ball for summer afternoons.

Guests are welcome to explore the farm’s trails and its abundance of wildlife - keep an eye out for deer, rabbits, wood mice, bees, butterflies, and a variety of birds.

The village of Lanivet is just under two miles away and has a welcoming 18th-century inn, serving a selection of local beers and ciders alongside classic pub dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. With a spacious beer garden and regular quiz nights, it’s a great place to soak up the local atmosphere.
