The Old Cart House is a spacious, semi-detached barn conversion located on a traditional working hill farm in the North York Moors National Park. The open-plan living space is ideal for a family or group of friends seeking a rural escape, and features original details such as exposed beams, stonework, and an open fire set in a brick fireplace.

The country-style kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals to enjoy at the large farmhouse dining table, while the seating area includes comfortable sofas and a grandfather clock. Sheep graze near the cottage, and you may be visited by the friendly resident ducks, geese, and peacocks. Children will enjoy visiting in spring to see the newborn lambs.

Mountain bikers and walkers will be spoilt for choice with bridleways, tracks, and footpaths leading straight from the cottage into the surrounding moorland and countryside. The beautiful Farndale valley is renowned for its spectacular spring display of wild daffodils along the River Dove, and the market town of Kirkbymoorside, just a short drive away, offers a good selection of shops, pubs, and places to eat.
