The Little Granary is a beautifully appointed barn conversion on a working farm in the historic village of Rockbourne. Situated on the outskirts of the New Forest National Park, the property has been thoughtful restored to provide cosy accommodation for a couple of solo traveller looking to explore the stunning Hampshire countryside and coast.

Designed in a studio style, the timber clad barn retains many original features including high-raftered ceilings which complement beautifully with the rustic furnishings. Small but perfectly formed, much thought has been given to providing everything you'll need without cluttering the space.

Although compact, the kitchen is well equipped with a range of appliances and utensils for preparing and cooking light meals and snacks, and there’s a small dining table to enjoy intimate suppers after a day out exploring the local area. Completing the space is a comfortable bed and a separate sleek shower room.

Outside there’s a pretty patio with a barbecue provided, a lovely spot to enjoy leisurely al fresco lunches or a nightcap as the sun sets over the surrounding fields.

The farm grows arable crops and is home to a variety of animals, including cows, sheep, horses, chickens, and ducks. The owners would be delighted to show guests around and, on occasion, visitors may have the opportunity to help with feeding the animals or collecting fresh eggs.

Footpaths wind throughout the grounds, leading past a pond and through ancient bluebell woods. Active guests can make use of the tennis court, while nature lovers will enjoy spotting the abundant birdlife, perhaps even catching sight of the ghostly silhouette of a barn owl hunting at dusk.

Nearby Fordingbridge is a charming town with a medieval bridge, and a good selection of independent shops, restaurants, and pubs, as well as an interesting local history museum. The stunning New Forest National Park is within walking distance with thousands of acres of moor, heath, and woodland to explore.
