The farm is home to suckler cows and calves, Swaledale cross ewes and lambs, and a small herd of Highland cattle. Inside, original features such as exposed beams and a stone fireplace with a wood burning stove are paired with more contemporary touches, making it well suited to couples or solo travellers who enjoy heritage and the outdoors.
Hadrian’s Wall is around a mile away, along with Greenlee Lough, known for its birdlife, and there are excellent walking and cycling routes throughout the park. A peaceful, off-the-beaten-track base, with a car needed for shops and other amenities.
