Purlinney is a traditional stone cottage set on a working farm in the coastal hamlet of Trebarwith, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Positioned high above the North Cornwall Coast Path, the cottage has been carefully renovated to combine original character, including timber-beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls, and slate flagstone floors, with relaxed, modern comfort. It provides an ideal base for families or friends exploring the nearby fishing villages and sandy beaches.
The country-style kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, making self-catering a breeze. A dining table has plenty of space for everyone to gather for home-cooked meals, while a large, local Ordnance Survey map on the wall helps plan the days ahead. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom and bathroom, well suited to guests who need easier access, and upstairs, two further bedrooms enjoy lovely views across the garden and surrounding farmland.
Outside, a charming courtyard is brightened with flowering pots, and a raised decked terrace with dining furniture is a superb vantage point for watching the spectacular sunsets over Trebarwith Strand.
Trebarwith itself is a small coastal settlement with a welcoming pub. A little further along the clifftops lies Tintagel, offering cafés, restaurants, and the historic Tintagel Castle, long associated with the legends of King Arthur.
