Meadow View Cottage is a lovely 17th-century barn conversion set on a working hill sheep farm in the heart of the Peak District. This semi-detached barn has been carefully converted by local craftsmen to offer modern, comfortable accommodation while retaining original features such as oak beams and exposed stonework.
The living space is on the first floor to make the most of the beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and grazing sheep. It includes comfortable seating, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large dining table, perfect for family meals. With three en-suite bedrooms, the cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends.
The cottage is a great base for a walking holiday, with the Pennine Way nearby, along with popular routes to Mam Tor, Kinder Scout, Jacob’s Ladder, Hollins Cross, and Kinder Downfall. The spa town of Buxton and the impressive Chatsworth House Estate are within easy driving distance. Visit in spring to see lambing season in full swing on the farm.
