Enjoy complete seclusion close to Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve in this West Sussex flint holiday barn. Set on a working arable farm, you can relax and spread out in the exceptional space on offer at Copyhold Barns.

This conversion of a Sussex flint stable block and cart barn forms a split-level building. Enjoy the wildlife at the farm with moorhens and visiting wild ducks on the natural pond. The barns have been converted to an excellent standard and are adapted to allow disabled access to the second bedroom and bathroom. Please note that there are steps within the barn as the living area and bedrooms are on different levels, so it is not suitable for guests in wheelchairs. The living room and kitchen make up the whole of the old stable block while the two bedrooms and bathrooms are within the old cart manger. Sleeping four guests as standard, there are 2 sofa beds in the living room, accommodating an additional 2 guests as required. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with en-suite bathroom while the second bedroom has twin beds and adapted for disabled access, with a ramp from the outside and an en-suite wet room. Please be advised however that the surrounding farmland is not wheelchair friendly.

Outside is a private area with tables and chairs and in the summer is a real sun trap. Lagness is a small village between the beaches at Aldwick and Bognor Regis three miles to the east and the cathedral city of Chichester to the west. It is also set beside the tranquillity of Pagham Harbour a mile or so to the south. This part of the coastline is a haven for unusual birds and wildlife with Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve and Chichester Harbour a little further to the west both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Pagham Harbour is an internationally important site for nature conservation while Chichester Harbour also combines its wildlife attractions with sailing centres such as Itchenor Bosham Dell Quay and Emsworth. Between these harbours there are beaches at Selsey and the Witterings, the latter offering unrivalled views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.

The city of Sussex is within four miles. The city centre is neatly enclosed within the ancient city walls which helps to make Chichester compact and pleasant to explore on foot. It is a cosmopolitan and friendly city proudly combining 2000 years of heritage with a lively lifestyle. A trip to the Chichester Festival Theatre close to the centre is well worth it as it is famous for the quality of theatre production, many of which premiere here before moving on to the London theatre scene. For the film buff the cinema complex and nearby restaurants to the south of the city also make for an enjoyable evening out. There is always much to see and do in Sussex and staying in Lagness gives the best of both worlds.
