A thoughtfully restored former farm building set on a small working livestock farm in the hamlet of Chancery, within easy reach of the Ceredigion Coast Path. Best suited to a couple or small family looking to explore the beautiful countryside, charming villages, and sandy beaches of West Wales.
The accommodation is arranged on one level, with just a small step up to the entrance, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility, and for convenience, a utility room is shared with another cottage on the farm.
Outside, a patio with picnic benches is a lovely setting for al fresco dining, where you can relax while watching the sheep graze in the neighbouring fields.
Despite its secluded location there are plenty of attractions nearby including heritage railways, ancient castles, and nature reserves.
The Cambrian Mountains can be reached in under an hour, where visitors can enjoy walking and cycling trails, waterfalls, prehistoric monuments, and an abundance of wildlife.
Cardigan Bay with its pristine beaches, secluded coves, fishing villages, and opportunities for water sports, boat trips, and dolphin spotting is just a couple of miles away. Aberystwyth has a long Victorian promenade, excellent fish and chips, and is home to the National Library of Wales and an award-winning Arts Centre. It also has a railway station with direct trains to Machynlleth (37 mins), Caersws (1 hr, 10 mins), and Shrewsbury (1 hr, 50 mins). A car will be required for shops and other amenities but the cottage has charging points for those driving electric vehicles.
