Littleham Court Cottage is a charming traditional farm cottage set on a working sheep farm, with wonderful views across Exmoor. Thoughtfully furnished with comfort in mind, this homely retreat provides a perfect family-friendly escape to the North Devon countryside.

The spacious living room has exposed beams and skylight windows, creating a light and airy atmosphere. There’s plenty of cosy seating, making it an ideal spot for watching a film or gathering everyone together for a board game. For extra fun, there’s also a pool and air hockey table to keep all ages entertained.

The bespoke country-style kitchen, with its beautiful bright red tiles and wooden cabinetry, is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals, while adjacent is a handy utility room. In the dining room, meals can be enjoyed around the large table beside a wood-burning stove, perfect for cosy evening dinners, and on warmer days, French doors open out onto the garden, where you can soak up the lovely views. If you’d prefer to eat out, there are several excellent dog-friendly pubs nearby serving hearty classics.

Upstairs, you’ll find two beautifully appointed bedrooms with stunning views across the farm and the surrounding unspoilt landscape. During spring you'll have the chance to spot lambs in the fields. Downstairs, there’s a comfortable single bedroom next to a shower room, ideal for guests with limited mobility.

Outside, the garden offers a fantastic outdoor dining space complete with a pizza oven and BBQ. After a day of exploring, unwind in the hot tub and enjoy a spot of stargazing beneath the clear night skies.

The historic port town of Bideford is just a short drive away, offering a variety of independent shops and eateries. Stroll along the picturesque quay, browse the farmers’ market for local produce, or take a ferry to Lundy Island, home to an array of fascinating wildlife and dramatic coastal scenery.

For a traditional seaside day out, head to nearby Westward Ho!, where you’ll find a long sandy beach, a lively promenade lined with souvenir shops, and opportunities to try your hand at watersports such as surfing, windsurfing, or paddleboarding.

Both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks are less than an hour’s drive from Littleham Court Cottage, each offering breathtaking scenery, historic attractions, chocolate-box villages, and countless walking and cycling trails to explore.
