There is a village store and pub dating back to the 15th century which is a gentle stroll away and welcomes dogs. For keen golfers, there is a local golf club and for wine lovers, Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard is 2 miles away, Carr Taylor (2 miles) and Oastbrook Vineyard (5 miles). All offer tours and tastings. Historic Battle is 3 miles away and Hastings 2 miles, with its charming Old Town and vintage shops and is home to the largest beach-launched fishing fleet in Europe.

There is a separate study with a desk, armchairs and bookshelves and through to a cloakroom with a WC. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms, one king-size bed, one double and a single room. The king-size bedroom has a dressing room and an en-suite. The family bathroom has a free-standing bath in the middle of the room, double sinks and a WC. On the second floor one of the bedrooms has a double bed with an en-suite shower, separate bath and WC and the other bedroom is a twin with an en-suite with a shower over bath and WC.
Outside, there is a large garden with several seating areas with garden furniture to enjoy the far-reaching countryside views. There is a decked area outside the garden room with a pergola and a pond. Please note the property is located on a working farm with horses and sheep in the adjoining field and although 2 dogs are welcome, guests should be aware of this.
