Frongoch Cottage is a charming rural retreat attached to the owners’ farmhouse on a working livestock farm in the attractive village of Pentraeth. Approached via a private road through acres of lush green fields, guests are welcomed by the friendly farm sheepdog. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped with a range of modern appliances and a dining table, making it easy to prepare and enjoy home-cooked meals together.

Adjacent is a cosy living room with handsome leather seating arranged around a wood-burning stove set within the original fireplace and mantel, a wonderfully warm and inviting space, even on the chilliest days. It’s the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine while recounting the day’s adventures.

Upstairs, two thoughtfully styled bedrooms offer comfort and charm, with iron bedsteads, crisp white linen, pretty prints, and delightful views over the garden. A sleek bathroom, with the option of both bath and shower, completes the accommodation.

Outside, a spacious lawned garden enjoys stunning views across Red Wharf Bay, renowned for its spectacular sunsets. Sit back and take in the sight of sheep and horses grazing in the surrounding fields, joined in spring by playful lambs.

Pentraeth lies on the banks of the River Nodwydd and offers a handful of shops, a welcoming pub, and a historic church. For additional amenities, head to nearby Red Wharf Bay, where a beautiful sandy beach attracts an abundance of waterfowl and wading birds.
