Pumpkin Patches Across The British Isles

Little Girl In A Pumpkin Patch

As Halloween approaches, farms across the British Isles will be opening their gates to visitors who come in search of the perfect pumpkin. Although originally an American concept, the popularity of pumpkin patches in the UK has grown rapidly in recent years with many farms offering a range of spook-tacular experiences that make for a fun day out for the whole family.

While pumpkins are best known for carving jack-o’-lanterns, they’re also a wonderfully versatile vegetable, perfect for both savoury and sweet dishes. Try them in soups, curries, and pasta dishes, or purée the flesh to use in pies, breads, and muffins. The seeds can be roasted for a crunchy snack or sprinkled as a topping. Low in calories and high in fibre, pumpkins are also packed with vitamins A and C, as well as essential minerals such as potassium and zinc, making them as nutritious as they are delicious.

If you want to stock up on pumpkins this autumn, here’s our pick of the top pumpkin patches across the UK and Ireland in 2025.
